The Siblings Australia Reference Group (SARG) was established in August 2007. The main aim of the reference group is to provide Siblings Australia with guidance on a number of topics, including policy making, projects, lobbying, funding and much more. It is also an opportunity for members to share their resources and discuss issues relating to siblings of those with special needs.
The group meets every 2 months via teleconference and is chaired by Kate Strohm, Executive Director of Siblings Australia. The group currently has 12 members, with a goal of expanding to cover all areas of sibling support/issues (including education).
